This learning opportunity is jointly provided by Community Health Center Association of Connecticut (CHCACT) and the Yale NEAETC CT Local Partner to educate providers on the impact and role of sexual violence, particularly intimate partner violence on HIV risks and outcomes as well as its impact on maternal mortality.
Sessions will be held monthly by Zoom and will include a 30-45 min presentation by a subject matter expert followed by case discussions among participants.
Topics will include: HIV and IPV, Human Trafficking, Maternal Mortality, Trauma Informed Care, Mandated reporting, PTSD and HIV, Local resources for people impacted by IPV
