Description
Please join us for the 20th Conference on HIV & Aging held at UMass Boston.
There is a $75 registration fee for all participants, with the exception of students with a valid school ID. After registration, you will be sent an email with all the instructions on how to pay the registration fee through PayPal.
A limited number of scholarships will be offered for the conference. Preference will be given to people living with HIV, but all applications will be considered. The scholarship application is available under "materials" on the event page.
This year's agenda will include:
- Red flags for HIV primary care prevention
- HIV and cardiovascular disease updates
- Two models of HIV care that integrates HIV provides with gerontologists
- A consumer panel discussing their experiences and challenges of aging with HIV
- Effects of interventions such as exercise and brain stimulation on chronic inflammation and cognitive-motor function
